Whoa, I just encountered and caught a shiny female Pyroar in Wild Zone 17. Yes, the Pyroar was from that infamous Pyroar pride with an alpha male (literally, LOL) Pyroar. Granted, when I caught this shiny Pyroar, it was nighttime in-game, when the Pyroar pride were sleeping, so I could sneak around to avoid waking them up.
I know the characteristic info in the Pokédex is for indicating a Pokémon's highest Individual Value, but this shiny Pyroar I caught having the characteristic of "liking to fight" is hilarious, given how notoriously aggressive the Pyroar in Wild Zone 17 are.
Recently, I talked about having a newfound appreciation for Inkay after catching one in Legends: Z-A. Now Pumpkaboo is another Generation 6 Pokémon that I rediscovered how cute they are. I just caught an alpha Pumpkaboo and a Jumbo Variety Pumpkaboo in the same in-game night in Wild Zone 15.
Pumpkaboo has a wonderful shiny colour palette too: black and purple are my favourite colours, and I love the purple/yellow colour combination.
I just finished the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A. While it doesn’t beat Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire’s spot as my favourite Pokémon game, Legends: Z-A is my favourite Pokémon game on the Nintendo Switch.
I've gained a newfound appreciation for Inkay and how adorable Inkay is, after catching one in Pokémon Legends: Z-A and realising how small they are. Look at those big round eyes!
Side note: I just found out that Malamar (Inkay's evolution) has the same height as me (1.5 m) 😆
