Whoa, I just encountered and caught a shiny female Pyroar in Wild Zone 17. Yes, the Pyroar was from that infamous Pyroar pride with an alpha male (literally, LOL) Pyroar. Granted, when I caught this shiny Pyroar, it was nighttime in-game, when the Pyroar pride were sleeping, so I could sneak around to avoid waking them up.

I know the characteristic info in the Pokédex is for indicating a Pokémon's highest Individual Value, but this shiny Pyroar I caught having the characteristic of "liking to fight" is hilarious, given how notoriously aggressive the Pyroar in Wild Zone 17 are.
Recently, I talked about having a newfound appreciation for Inkay after catching one in Legends: Z-A. Now Pumpkaboo is another Generation 6 Pokémon that I rediscovered how cute they are. I just caught an alpha Pumpkaboo and a Jumbo Variety Pumpkaboo in the same in-game night in Wild Zone 15.
Pumpkaboo has a wonderful shiny colour palette too: black and purple are my favourite colours, and I love the purple/yellow colour combination.
I just finished the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A. While it doesn’t beat Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire’s spot as my favourite Pokémon game, Legends: Z-A is my favourite Pokémon game on the Nintendo Switch.
I've gained a newfound appreciation for Inkay and how adorable Inkay is, after catching one in Pokémon Legends: Z-A and realising how small they are. Look at those big round eyes!
Side note: I just found out that Malamar (Inkay's evolution) has the same height as me (1.5 m) 😆
My ass almost got kicked by allergic rhinitis that somehow got triggered at school today, but I felt better after having dinner at home. Also, I received my physical copy of Nintendo Switch 1 version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A that I ordered from a local gaming store three days ago.
I already knew why the Pokémon video games struggle to evolve badly even before watching this video, but as long as die-hard Pokémon fans keep defending them against criticisms (and refusing to try out any other monster taming games even if they have higher quality), the points still need to be repeated again and again.
Today I learned that the Psyduck has a Japanese-exclusive Pokémon card that was inspired by Edvard Munch's "The Scream", both in the illustration and the attack, which was literally named Scream.
Every time when I see a Pokémon fan complain about The Pokémon Company or Game Freak being cowards for not making their favourite gay ship canon, I want to tell them: "Please stop begging for corporations and corporate franchises to give you scraps and instead play Cassette Beasts which has actual unambiguously canon LGBTQ+ characters, and you can choose to pursue a gay romance yourself too".
